The Mersey~Sound~miniWave under constuction in a secret location on Merseyside.
~
The mini-guitars are carefully set-out on a reflective flexble cover. The cover is then shaped to simulate two tidal river waves.
Experimenting with the placement and arrangement of the guitars can
now be undertaken.
Once the definitive shape is found the mini-guitars will then be suspended by nylon 'fishing' line from the overhead mesh covered canopy - See below.

A 'block' of mini-guitars have ascended the crest of the first larger wave . The others 'follow-in' behind in ever diminishing numbers.
A curvature completes the scene
which points towards the far distant left hand side.

The next stage involves suspending the mini-guitars with nylon chord from the overhead canopy coming to rest in position on the cover below.
Once done, the 'table' covering can be removed leaving the guitars to 'float' on an imaginary tidal river wave:

An inspiring model of the originally conceived full-size version of the MERSEY~SOUND~WAVE
~
The MERSEY~SOUND~miniWAVE is less than one-tenth of the original at 6' X 2" or an area of 12 sq ft. 100 minature guitars of appoximately 2.5 inches long. A small specialised lighting arrangement is included to provide the M~S~mW with subdued reverence and the illusion of gentle movement.
Specially composed original background music will complete the exhibit.
